Hadith 6612

أَخْبَرَنَا إِِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ بْنِ وَرْدَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " وَاللَّهِ لا يَقْسِمُ وَرَثَتِي دِينَارًا ، مَا تَرَكْتُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ بَعْدَ نَفَقَةِ نِسَائِي ، وَمَئُونَةِ عَامِلِي ، فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the time of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) passing drew near, Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: “Oh, how much pain there is!” So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “After today, your father will never experience any pain.”
