Hadith 6609

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لا يَقْسِمُ وَرَثَتِي بَعْدِي دِينَارًا ، مَا تَرَكْتُ بَعْدَ نَفَقَةِ عِيَالِي ، وَمَئُونَةِ عَامِلِي ، صَدَقَةٌ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "My heirs will not distribute dinars. After the expenses for my wives and the compensation for my workers, whatever I leave behind will be considered charity."
