أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ آخِرُ وَصِيَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُغَرْغِرُ بِهَا فِي صَدْرِهِ ، وَمَا كَانَ يُفِيضُ بِهَا لِسَانُهُ : " الصَّلاةَ الصَّلاةَ ، اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ فِيمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانَكُمْ " .
Zar narrates: I asked Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the inheritance of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): She replied: You are asking me about the inheritance of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)? The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) did not leave behind any dinar or dirham or goat or camel as inheritance, nor did he make any bequest regarding anything.
