أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَزْهَرُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْصَى إِِلَى عَلِيٍّ ، وَلَقَدْ دَعَا بِطَسْتٍ ، فَبَالَ فِيهِ ، وَإِِنَّهُ لَعَلَى صَدْرِي ، فَانْخَنَثَ ، فَمَاتَ ، وَمَا أَشْعُرُ بِهِ " .
Abu Tufail narrates: Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked: Did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) grant you anything exclusively? He replied: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not grant us anything exclusively that he did not grant to other people generally, except for some things that are in the sheath of my sword. Then he took out a written scroll. (In which it was written:) "May Allah curse the one who sacrifices (an animal) in the name of other than Allah. May Allah curse the one who steals the boundary markers of the land. (That is, he tampers with them.) May Allah curse the one who curses his parents. May Allah curse the one who gives refuge to an innovator (in religion)."
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) By 'of the land' is meant the marker that exists between the land of two people. This was stated by Imam Abu Hatim.
