أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ وَهْبِ بْنِ أَبِي كَرِيمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى عَلَى قَتْلَى أُحُدٍ ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ وَقَعَدَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ ، فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَاثْنَيْ عَلَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ، إِِنِّي بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ فَرَطٌ ، وَإِِنِّي عَلَيْكُمْ لَشَهِيدٌ ، وَإِِنِّي وَاللَّهِ مَا أَخَافُ عليكُمْ أَنْ تُشْرِكُوا بَعْدِي ، وَلَكِنِّي قَدْ أُعْطِيتُ اللَّيْلَةَ مَفَاتِيحَ خَزَائِنِ الأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاءِ ، وَأَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تَنَافَسُوا فِيهَا " ، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فَلَمْ يَخْرُجْ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ حَتَّى قَبَضَهُ اللَّهُ جَلَّ وَعَلا ، وَكَانَتْ آخِرُ خُطْبَةٍ خَطَبَهَا حَتَّى قَبَضَهُ اللَّهُ جَلَّ وَعَلا .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Pour water over me from seven water skins whose mouths have not been untied, so that I may feel some relief, so that I can give some guidance to the people." Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: We seated the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) in a large copper vessel belonging to Lady Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her). We poured water over him until he signaled to us that we had completed the task. Then he went out. He praised and glorified Allah Almighty. He prayed for forgiveness for those martyrs who were martyred in the Battle of Uhud.
