Ubaidullah bin Abdullah narrates the statement of Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): During the illness of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), we poured medicine into his mouth. He gestured, "Do not pour medicine into my mouth." We thought, just as a sick person dislikes medicine (it is the same in this case). When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) felt better, he said, "Did I not forbid you from pouring medicine into my mouth?" We said, "(We thought) just as a sick person dislikes medicine (it was a similar situation)." The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Medicine should be poured into the mouth of every person present in the house."
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) states: I was looking towards Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) because at that time he was not present in the house (when the medicine was poured into the mouth of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him).
