Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Once a man was taking a cow along. He intended to ride on it, so the cow turned towards him and said: 'We have not been created for this purpose; we have been created so that farming may be done through us.' The people present with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Subhan Allah!' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'I believe in this, Abu Bakr and Umar also believe in this (that the cow can speak), even though these two were not present there.' Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Once a man was taking his goats along. A wolf caught one of the goats. The shepherd went after the wolf and rescued the goat from it. The wolf said: 'What will you do on the day when it will be the day of the beasts' rule? On that day, there will be no guardian of these goats except me.' The people present with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Subhan Allah!' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'I, Abu Bakr, and Umar also believe in this (that the wolf can speak), even though these two were not present there.'"
