أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّغُولِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِِنِّي لأَعْرِفُ حَجَرًا بِمَكَّةَ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيَّ إِِذْ بُعِثْتُ ، إِِنِّي لأَعْرِفُهُ الآنَ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I recognize that stone in Makkah which used to greet me at the time when I was appointed (as a Prophet). I still recognize it today."
