أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَوْهِبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِِنَّ حَوْضِي كَمَا بَيْنَ أَيْلَةَ إِِلَى صَنْعَاءَ اليمنِ ، وَإِِنَّ فِيهِ مِنَ الأَبَارِيقِ بِعَدَدِ نُجُومِ السَّمَاءِ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, the length of my cistern is as much as the distance from Aylah to Sana'a, and by it are vessels as numerous as the stars in the sky."
