أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ إِِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنَ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنِ الصُّنَابِحِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَلا إِِنِّي فَرَطُكُمْ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ ، وَإِِنِّي مُكَاثِرٌ بِكُمُ الأُمَمَ ، فَلا تَقْتَتِلُنَّ بَعْدِي " .
Sayyiduna Sanabah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Beware! I will precede you at the Pond (of Kawthar), and I will take pride in your great numbers before the other nations, so do not kill one another after me."
