It is narrated about Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him). He mentioned regarding the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): He (peace be upon him) was the best of all people. He was the most generous of all people. He was the bravest of all people. Once, the people of Madinah were overcome by fear. The people went towards the direction of the sound, and they met the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him); he (peace be upon him) had already gone towards the sound before them. He (peace be upon him) was riding bareback on the horse of Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him). There was no saddle on it. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had a sword hanging from his neck. He (peace be upon him) said to the people: Do not be afraid. He (peace be upon him) sent them back, then he (peace be upon him) said about that horse: We found it to be like the sea; indeed, it is like the sea (meaning it is extremely fast).
