Hadith 6350

أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ ، لَوْ كَانَ عِنْدِي أُحُدٌ ذَهَبًا ، لأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ لا يَأْتِي عَلَيَّ ثَلاثٌ وَعِنْدِي مِنْهُ دِينَارٌ لا أَجِدُ مَنْ يَتَقَبَّلَهُ مِنِّي ، لَيْسَ شَيْءٌ أَرْصُدُهُ لِدَيْنٍ عَلَيَّ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By Him in Whose Hand is the life of Muhammad, if I had gold equal to the mountain of Uhud, I would love that not a single dinar of it remains with me after three days, except for a dinar which I have kept for the repayment of a debt."
