Hadith 6322

أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ بِالْبَصْرَةِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " قَرَأَ : وَاتَّخِذُوا مِنْ مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى سورة البقرة آية 125 " .
Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from his father (Imam Muhammad al-Baqir, may Allah be pleased with him) the statement of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "And take the station of Abraham as a place of prayer."
