أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا يُونُسَ مَوْلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ : مَا رَأَيْتُ شَيْئًا أَحْسَنَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، " كَأَنَّمَا الشَّمْسُ تَجْرِي فِي وَجْهِهِ ، وَمَا رَأَيْتُ أَسْرَعَ فِي مِشْيَتِهِ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، كَأَنَّ الأَرْضَ تُطْوَى لَهُ ، إِِنَّا لَنُجْهِدُ أَنْفُسَنَا ، وَإِِنَّهُ لَغَيْرُ مُكْتَرِثٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I have not seen anything more beautiful than the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It seemed as if the sun was moving in his face, and I have not seen anyone walk faster than the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It appeared as if the earth was folded up for him. We would struggle to walk (at such speed), while he would walk (at that speed) without any effort.
