Hadith 6298

أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَطَّارُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ : " نَظَرْتُ إِِلَى الْخَاتَمِ الَّذِي عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : كَأَنَّهُ بَيْضَةُ حَمَامَةٍ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw the Seal of Prophethood, which was present on the blessed body of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The narrator says: It was like the egg of a pigeon.
