أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الضُّبَعِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَمْ يَكُنْ يَخْضِبُ ، إِِنَّمَا كَانَ شَمَطٌ عِنْدَ الْعَنْفَقَةِ يَسِيرًا ، وَفِي الرَّأْسِ يَسِيرًا ، وَفِي الصُّدْغَيْنِ يَسِيرًا " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) did not apply dye. There were a few white hairs between his mouth and chin. There were a few white hairs on his head and a few white hairs on his temples.
