Hadith 6254

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " حَدِّثُوا عَنْ بَنِي إِِسْرَائِيلَ وَلا حَرَجَ ، وَحَدِّثُوا عَنِّي ، وَلا تَكْذِبُوا عَلَيَّ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Narrate traditions from the Children of Israel, there is no harm in it, and narrate traditions from me as well, but do not attribute any false statement to me."
