Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Children of Israel used to bathe naked, looking at each other's private parts, but Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) used to bathe alone. They said: By Allah! Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) does not bathe with us only because there is some defect in him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Once Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) went to bathe and placed his clothes on a stone, then the stone ran away with his clothes. Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) ran after it, saying: O stone, my clothes! O stone, my clothes! Until the Children of Israel saw the private parts of Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him), and they said: By Allah! There is no defect in Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him). When the people saw him, the stone stopped. Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) took his clothes and began to strike the stone." Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) states: By Allah! There are six, or perhaps seven, marks of Sayyiduna Musa's (peace be upon him) strikes on that stone.
