أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانُ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً دَعَاهَا فِي أُمَّتِهِ ، وَإِِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every prophet has a special supplication which he makes for his ummah, and I have reserved my supplication for the intercession of my ummah."
