أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ بِنَسَا ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زَنْجُوَيْهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْهِرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، عَنِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى قَالَ : " يَا عِبَادِي ، إِنِّي حَرَّمْتُ الظُّلْمَ عَلَى نَفْسِي ، وَجَعَلْتُهُ بَيْنَكُمْ مُحَرَّمًا ، فَلا تَظَّالَمُوا ، يَا عِبَادِي ، إِنَّكُمْ تُخْطِئُونَ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ ، وَأَنَا الَّذِي أَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ وَلا أُبَالِي " . فَذَكَرَهُ بِطُولِهِ وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِهِ : وَكَانَ أَبُو إِدْرِيسَ إِذَا حَدَّثَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ جَثَا عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that Allah Almighty said: "O My servants! I have made oppression unlawful for Myself and I have made it unlawful among you as well, so do not oppress one another. O My servants! Indeed, you commit sins by day and by night, and I am the One who forgives sins, and I do not mind."
After this, the narrator mentioned a lengthy hadith, at the end of which he stated this point. Whenever the narrator named Abu Idris would narrate this hadith, he would kneel down on his knees.
