Hadith 6181

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانِ ، عَنْ عَوْفٍ ، عَنْ قَسَامَةَ بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " خَلَقَ اللَّهُ آدَمَ مِنْ أَدِيمِ الأَرْضِ كُلِّهَا ، فَخَرَجَتْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُ عَلَى حَسَبِ ذَلِكَ ، فَمِنْهُمُ الأَسْوَدُ وَالأَبْيَضُ وَالأَحْمَرُ وَالأَصْفَرُ ، وَمِنْهُمْ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ ، وَالسَّهْلُ وَالْحَزْنُ ، وَالْخَبِيثُ وَالطِّيبُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Allah Almighty created Sayyiduna Adam (peace be upon him) from all parts of the earth, so his progeny will be according to that. Among them are some who are black, some white, some red, some yellow, and some in between. Some are easy-going, some are sorrowful, some are bad, and some are excellent."
