Hadith 6173

أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أُتِيَ بِصَبِيٍّ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، عُصْفُورٌ مِنْ عَصَافِيرِ الْجَنَّةِ ؟ قَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَوَلا تَدْرِينَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ خَلَقَ لِلْجَنَّةِ خَلْقًا ، فَجَعَلَهُمْ لَهَا أَهْلا وَهُمْ فِي أَصْلابِ آبَائِهِمْ ، وَخَلَقَ النَّارَ ، وَخَلَقَ لَهَا أَهْلا وَهُمْ فِي أَصْلابِ آبَائِهِمْ ؟ " .
Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: An Ansari child was brought to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) so that he (peace be upon him) could perform his funeral prayer. I said: O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! He is a little bird of Paradise. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Do you not know that Allah Almighty has created a specific creation for Paradise? He made them deserving of Paradise while they were still in the loins of their forefathers. He also created Hell and created its inhabitants while they were still in the loins of their forefathers.
