Hadith 6163

أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْقَيْسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَمَّا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ آدَمَ ، جَعَلَ إِِبْلِيسَ يُطِيفُ بِهِ ، فَلَمَّا رَآهُ أَجْوَفَ ، قَالَ : طَفِرْتُ بِهِ ، خَلْقٌ لا يَتَمَالَكُ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "When Allah Almighty created Sayyiduna Adam (peace be upon him), Iblis began to circle around his body. When he saw that he was hollow from inside, he said: I have seen him; this creature will not be able to control himself."
