باب بدء الخلق - ذكر البيان بأن كتبة الله الكتاب الذي ذكرناه كتبه بيده-Section on the Beginning of Creation - Allah wrote the Book with His own hand
Hadith 6145

أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا إِِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ بْنِ وَرْدَانَ بِمِصْرَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلانَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " حِينَ خَلَقَ اللَّهُ الْخَلْقَ ، كَتَبَ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ الرَّحْمَةَ : أَنَّ رَحْمَتِي غَلَبَتْ غَضْبَى " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When Allah Almighty created the creation, He made mercy obligatory upon Himself with His hand of mercy (and wrote this): 'Indeed, My mercy has prevailed over My wrath.'"
