Hadith 6078

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هِنْدٍ حَجَمَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْيَافُوخِ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَا مَعْشَرَ الأَنْصَارِ ، أَنْكِحُوا أَبَا هِنْدٍ ، وَانْكِحُوا إِلَيْهِ " فَقَالَ : " إِنْ كَانَ فِي شَيْءٍ مِمَّا تَدَاوَوْنَ بِهِ خَيْرٌ فَالْحِجَامَةُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Abu Hind applied cupping to the crown of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Ansar! Arrange the marriage of Abu Hind (with a girl from your family), get him married. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Among the things you use for treatment, the best thing is cupping.
