Hadith 6073

أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى السَّخْتِيَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وهَيْبٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أن رسول اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ مِنْ خَيْرِ أَكْحَالِكُمُ الإِثْمِدُ ، فَإِنَّهُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ ، وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعْرَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, the best kohl among your kohls is antimony; it sharpens the eyesight and grows hair."
