Hadith 6071

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْحَبَّةِ السَّوْدَاءِ ، فَإِنَّ فِيهَا شِفَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ إِلا السَّامَ " ، يُرِيدُ الْمَوْتَ .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "You must use black seed, for in it there is a cure for every disease except as-sam." (The narrator says:) As-sam means death.
