Hadith 5968

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عن النبي صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " وَيْلٌ لِلنِّسَاءِ مِنَ الأَحْمَرَيْنِ : الذَّهَبِ وَالْمُعَصْفَرِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The ruin of women is due to two red things: gold and mu'asfar (yellow-dyed cloth or something else)."
