أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ ، قَالَ : ذُكِرَ عِنْدَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الرَّهْنُ فِي السِّلْمِ ، فَقَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الأَسْوَدُ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أن رسول اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اشْتَرَى مِنْ يَهُودِيٍّ طَعَامًا إِلَى سَنَةٍ ، وَرَهَنَهُ دِرْعًا لَهُ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ " .
Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) bought grain from a Jew on the condition that he would pay him after a year. The Prophet (peace be upon him) left his iron armor with him as collateral.
