Hadith 5901

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ قَحْطَبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْجَرْجَرَائِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمُ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُضَحِّي بِكَبْشَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ ، وَكَانَ يُسَمِّي وَيُكَبِّرُ ، فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ يَذْبَحُهُمَا بِيَدِهِ وَاضِعًا عَلَى صِفَاحِهِمَا قَدَمَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) sacrificed two rams with black eyes and horns. He (peace be upon him) took the name of Allah and said Takbeer. I saw that he (peace be upon him) slaughtered them with his blessed hand, and he (peace be upon him) had placed his blessed foot on their side.
