Hadith 589

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ : " دَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَأَيْتُهُ مُتَّكِئًا عَلَى وِسَادَةٍ عَلَى يَسَارِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and I saw him sitting while reclining on a cushion that was on his left side.
