Sayyida Rabi’ bint Mu’awwidh (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came; on the morning of my wedding, he (peace be upon him) came to our house and sat on my bed just as you are sitting with me now. Some girls from the Ansar were beating the duff and praising their forefathers who were martyred at the Battle of Badr. One of the girls recited this verse: “Among us is a Prophet who knows what will happen tomorrow.” The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Leave this and sing what you were singing before.
