أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمَدَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أبُو الطَّاهِرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الثَّوْرِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أن رسول اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدِ ، فَكَأَنَّمَا غَمَسَ يَدَهُ فِي لَحْمِ خِنْزِيرٍ وَدَمِهِ " .
Sulaiman bin Buraidah narrates from his father that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever plays with dice, it is as if he has dipped his hand in the flesh and blood of a pig."
