Hadith 5866

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كُنْتُ أَلْعَبُ بِالْبَنَاتِ ، وَتَجِيءُ صَوَاحِبِي فَيَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْنَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُمْنَ مِنْهُ ، فَكَانَ يُدْخِلُهُنَّ إِلَيَّ فَيَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي " .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I used to play with dolls and my friends would come and play with me. When they saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), they would get up and leave. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would send them back to me, so they would play with me.
