Hadith 5855

أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لا تَدْخُلُ الْمَلائِكَةُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ وَلا صُورَةٌ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture."
