Hadith 5847

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَهِيَ مُسْتَتِرَةٌ بِقِرَامٍ فِيهِ تَمَاثِيلُ ، فَتَلَوَّنَ وَجْهُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَهْوَى إِلَى الْقِرَامِ ، فَهَتَكَهُ بِيَدِهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " إِنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الَّذِينَ يُشَبِّهُونَ بِخَلْقِ اللَّهِ " .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Once the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came to her and she had hung a curtain on which there were pictures. The face of the Prophet (peace be upon him) changed color, and he moved towards the curtain and removed it with his blessed hand. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Indeed, on the Day of Resurrection, those who make pictures of Allah’s creation will face severe punishment.
