Hadith 580

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ ثَالِثٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two people should not converse secretly with each other, leaving out a third."
