It is narrated about Sayyiduna Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to him and said: O Abu ‘Amarah, you turned your back on the Day of Hunayn. He replied: As for me, I testify and state that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not turn his back. However, some hasty people among the people, when they came under the target of the arrows of the Hawazin tribe, (they retreated). At that time, Sayyiduna Abu Sufyan bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) was holding the reins of the white mule of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was saying: I am a Prophet, this is not a lie, I am the son of Abdul Muttalib.
