Hadith 5755

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مِنْ شَرِّ النَّاسِ ذُو الْوَجْهَيْنِ ، الَّذِي يَأْتِي هَؤُلاءِ بِوَجْهٍ ، وَهَؤُلاءِ بِوَجْهٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Among the worst of people is the two-faced person who comes to one group with one face and to another group with a different face."
