Hadith 5732

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي الزُهْرِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي ثَابِتٌ الزُّرَقِيُّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ الرِّيحَ مِنْ رَوْحِ اللَّهِ ، تَأْتِي بِالرَّحْمَةِ ، وَتَأْتِي بِالْعَذَابِ ، فَلا تَسُبُّوهَا ، وَسَلُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ خَيْرِهَا ، وَاسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "Indeed, it (the wind) comes from Allah, bringing mercy and also bringing punishment, so do not speak ill of it. Ask Allah for its goodness and seek refuge with Allah from its evil."
