Hadith 5713

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْقَطَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُوسَى الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ : وَاخَيْبَةَ الدَّهْرِ ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الدَّهْرُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No person should say: 'May time be ruined,' because Allah Almighty is the One who controls time."
