Hadith 5711

أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ حَاتِمِ بْنِ وَرْدَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِيَ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ ، عَنْ جُنْدُبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَجَلِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " قَالَ رَجُلٌ : وَاللَّهِ لا يَغْفِرُ اللَّهُ لِفُلانٍ ، فَقَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى : قَدْ غَفَرْتُ لِفُلانٍ ، وَأَحْبَطْتُ عَمَلَكَ " .
Sayyiduna Jundub bin Abdullah Bajali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man said: By Allah, Allah will not forgive so-and-so. So Allah the Exalted said: I have forgiven so-and-so and have nullified your deeds."
