Hadith 5701

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بِبُسْتَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ لِي مَا بَيْنَ لَحْيَيْهِ أَتَوَكَّلْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةَ " .
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever guarantees for me (control over) what is between his jaws (i.e., his tongue), I guarantee Paradise for him.”
