Hadith 5685

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بِبُسْتَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ هِلالٍ الصَّوَّافُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ صَوَّرَ صُورَةً ، فَإِنَّهُ يُعَذَّبُ حَتَّى يَنْفُخَ فِيهَا الرُّوحَ ، وَلَيْسَ بِنَافِخٍ فِيهَا الرُّوحَ ، وَمَنْ تَحَلَّمَ حُلْمًا كَاذِبًا ، كُلِّفَ أَنْ يَعْقِدَ بَيْنَ شَعِيرَتَيْنِ وَيُعَذَّبُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ ، وَمَنِ اسْتَمَعَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ وَهُمْ لَهُ كَارِهُونَ ، صُبَّ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ الآنُكُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever makes a picture will be punished by being told to put a soul into it, and he will not be able to put a soul into it. And whoever narrates a false dream will be made to tie two grains of barley together, and he will be punished for that. And whoever listens to people's conversations secretly while they dislike it, molten lead will be poured into his ears on the Day of Resurrection."
