Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah! When will the Hour (Day of Judgment) be established?" Meanwhile, the prayer was called. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) completed the prayer, he inquired, "Where is the one who asked about the Hour?" He replied, "O Messenger of Allah! I am here." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "It will certainly come to pass, but what preparation have you made for it?" He replied, "I have not prepared much in terms of deeds, but I love Allah and His Messenger." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You will be with those whom you love." The narrator states: At that time, there was an Ansari man named Muhammad present with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If he remains alive, the Hour will be established before he becomes old." Here, the narrator named Hadbah has narrated these additional words. Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We love Allah and His Messenger.

(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:): This narration belongs to those in which the address is kept general, and by it is meant prohibition, that is, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to prohibit people from inclining towards this world, and he described before them the virtue of something related to their eternal life, the reality of which accepts that the time of the Hour is near for those people, and they should not rely on what they are hearing.
