Hadith 564

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَجُلا قَالَ : يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ، مَتَى السَّاعَةُ ؟ قَالَ : " أَمَا إِنَّهَا قَائِمَةٌ فَمَا أَعْدَدْتَ لَهَا ؟ " ، قَالَ : مَا أَعْدَدْتُ لَهَا كَثِيرَ عَمَلٍ إِلا أَنِّي أُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فَإِنَّكَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ ، وَلَكَ مَا احْتَسَبْتَ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah! When will the Hour be established?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "It will certainly be established. What preparation have you made for it?" He replied, "I have not prepared many deeds for it, but I love Allah and His Messenger." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You will be with those whom you love, and you will receive the reward you hope for."
