Hadith 5627

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى حِمَارًا قَدْ وُسِمَ فِي وَجْهِهِ ، فَقَالَ : " أَلَمْ أَنْهَ عَنْ هَذَا ، لَعَنَ اللَّهُ مَنْ فَعَلَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a donkey that had been branded on its face, so he said: "Did I not forbid this? May Allah curse the one who did this."
