Hadith 5611

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ وَهْبِ بْنِ أَبِي كَرِيمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الدَّوْسِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا لَقِيتُمْ هَبَّارَ بْنَ الأَسْوَدِ ، وَنَافِعَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ ، فَحَرِّقُوهُمَا بِالنَّارِ ، ثُمَّ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ : لا يُعَذِّبُ بِهَا إِلا اللَّهُ ، وَلَكِنْ إِذَا لَقِيتُمُوهُمَا فَاقْتُلُوهُمَا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When you encounter Ahbar bin Aswad and Nafi’ bin ‘Abd Qais, burn both of them in the fire." After this, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Only Allah Almighty can punish with fire. When you encounter both of them, then kill them."
