Hadith 5480

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْفِطْرَةُ خَمْسٌ : الاخْتِتَانُ ، وَالاسْتِحْدَادُ ، وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ ، وَتَقْلِيمُ الأَظْفَارِ ، وَنَتْفُ الإِبِطِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "There are five acts of natural disposition: circumcision, removing the pubic hair, trimming the moustache, cutting the nails, and removing the hair from the armpits."
