Hadith 5479

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مَعْمَرًا ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ : قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ ، وَنَتْفُ الإِبِطِ ، وَتَقْلِيمُ الأَظْفَارِ ، وَالاسْتِحْدَادُ ، وَالْخِتَانُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Five things are part of natural disposition: trimming the moustache, removing the hair from the armpits, cutting the nails, removing the hair below the navel, and circumcision."
